Full course description
Course Overview
For decades, financial institutions have successfully enlisted Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to help them safely build and manage the use of conventional predictive models. Recently, Generative AI tools have become useful enough for leading institutions to embrace AI strategies, raising questions about the role of ERM and other control functions in helping their institutions achieve strategic objectives safely. This two day workshop will help today's professionals tasked with managing risk in Generative AI deployments understand best practices and develop a modernized risk management strategy. An evaluation of technology trends, including that of giving some authority to action-taking AI Agents, will help participants develop a robust strategy which takes advantage of emerging capabilities.
Who should take this course?
The program is for practitioners actively involved in Generative AI strategy, AI Use Case prioritization, AI application development or deployment, or managing risks related to use of Generative AI. This can include executives who seek to modernize risk management activities.
Within ERM, this pressure is most acute for Model Risk and Operational Risk Management. Within Information Technology organizations, the work of professionals in the Architecture, Information Security, and Data Governance areas is being modernized to manage AI risk. Control partners in Procurement/Third-Party Risk Management, Legal, and Audit areas also would benefit from participation.
