Course Overview
Join Professor KZ Zhang for anoverview of recent developments in generative AI, including advanced Prompt Engineering for LLMs, multimodal LLMS (MLLMs), In Context Learning (ICL), Chain of Thought (CoT) for complex tasks, and RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation). Workshop participants will use cases and real-world examples with hands-on exercises to solve business problems.

The mission of this course is to equip participants with the skills they need to integrate generative AI into their workflows and master the latest AI trends without coding expertise.

What will you learn?
Session 1 (2 hours): Introduction to Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). Understanding the theory behind LLMs and Multimodal LLMs (MLLMs) and their capabilities. Use cases and real-world examples with hands-on exercises.

Session 2 (2 hours): Advanced Prompt Engineering for LLMs and MLLMs. Understanding In Context Learning (ICL) and Change of Thought (CoT) for complex tasks. Building a customized LLM using your own data - RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation). Use cases and real-world examples with hands-on exercises.

Session 3 (2 hours): Designing and deploying agentic workflows for business tasks.
Building multi-agents for sequential and complex decision-making. Use cases and real-world examples with hands-on exercises. Responsible AI: Validating and refining responses from LLMs.
