Full course description
Course Overview
This is the second course in the Statistical Analysis and Data Visualization part of the Data Science and Business Analytics program. In today’s data-driven world, analyzing multiple variables together is essential to uncover deeper insights. This module introduces you to a variety of visualizations designed to help you explore relationships between variables and present them in a compelling way.
Why enroll in this course?
Most real-world datasets contain variables that interact with one another, and analyzing them in isolation may overlook key insights. This course will equip you with the skills to perform multivariate analysis using charts tailored for categorical, numeric, and mixed data types, helping you communicate complex relationships clearly and effectively.
What will you learn?
By the end of the module, you will have learned:
- How to analyze relationships between multiple variables using visualizations
- The appropriate charts for categorical, numeric, and mixed data
- How to interpret and generate insights from multivariate charts
- How to enhance charts for clarity, aesthetics, and professionalism
Structure
The course is completely self paced. It will take you approximately 15 hours to complete all three modules. Activities include, video lessons, readings, and self reflection activities. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a certificate of completion.
